		<description>He gave some examples of what people boast in: money, knowledge, their children, their humility, their job (including ministry), etc. What gives your life purpose? What makes you significant? If it&#039;s not Jesus and the Medal of Honor of HIS Righteousness, you are probably boasting in that thing. This rocked my world. I boast in my church, my job (when it was with B&amp;B, and now with CCC), my marriage (or even the fact that I am married), my reformedness (or that I even know about guys like Spurgeon, Edwards, and Calvin). I could go on and on.

As far as practical ways for evangelism or exhortation, ask them humbly how significant their life would be without [insert validating claim]. This is obviously done out of a heart that the only reason you are able to ask this question is the grace poured out on your life.

Love you bro.

		<description>&quot;Dr. Keller suggests something different. He recommends not looking at their sins, but rather looking at what they boast in.&quot;

So walk me through the conversation. Do you (or did Keller) have an example of how you go about showing someone the need for Christ through what they boast in?

I kind of understood the idea in the context, but I can&#039;t wrap my mind around what it looks like practially, and I&#039;m interested.
